We have cruised with them in groups of 2s and 3 when they were younger (minus parents), once on the Ecstasy and twice on the Triumph. We all had so much fun, they have begged us to do a another cruise with all the cousins together (sans parents). Like you, the only must do was/is dinner together. On the other cruises they were part of the kids club, had to check in every hour and stay together, but they were just 8 to 13. At that time their favorite things were ice cream runs at least every hour, the water works (which we went with them) and board games in the suite.
Good thing I need to lose a few (50) pounds and can stand to not overindulge. This time we wanted to get off as soon as we could because my kids had a 1pm appt for a dolphin swim. They wanted everyone to take the stairs and those who had bought faster to the fun or suites or diamond and platinum were supposed to get off first. Well that didn't happen… Everyone just crammed the stairs. My daughter had her knee scooter and could not do the stairs… NO elevators available. I had to swim downstream in the sea of people to find a carnival person to get an elevator for my daughter and then swim upstream in the sea of people headed downstairs back to my kids.

THe port is a long walk so we hightailed it as fast as my daughter could scooter and headed for the taxi stand.
